WHITE SUPREMACY
White supremacy is an ideology or belief system that asserts the superiority of white people over people of other races. It suggests that white people should dominate socially, politically, and economically due to this perceived superiority. This system of belief has been used to justify social inequalities, discrimination, and violence against racial and ethnic minorities.
White supremacy is what gave Europeans "permission" to colonize, enslave, and commit crimes against humanity for several hundreds of years.
Some characteristics of white supremacy culture include: perfectionism, a sense of urgency, defensiveness, quantity over quality, worship of the written word, paternalism, either/or thinking, power hoarding, fear of open conflict, individualism, progress defined as more/bigger/faster, objectivity, and citing a right to comfort.
